- 1 tablespoon espresso powder, for rimmed glass, optional
- 1 tablespoon sugar, for rimmed glass, optional
- 4 ounces cold-brew coffee
- 1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey
- 1 ounce Baileys Irish Cream
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup, homemade or store-bought (see note)
- Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
- If rimming the glass, mix together the espresso powder and sugar on a small plate. Spoon some water or simple syrup onto another small plate. The simple syrup gives it a bit more staying power, but water also works. Swirl the rim of the glass in the water or simple syrup to moisten. Then, swirl in the espresso powder-sugar mixture. Set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, add the cold-brew coffee, Irish whiskey, Baileys Irish Cream, simple syrup and ice. Pop on the top and shake vigorously for about 15 to 30 seconds.
- Strain into martini glasses. Enjoy!
