Simple halloween frankenstein pretzels utilizing sweet melts, pretzels, and a couple of straightforward fixings! Children can help with this simple to make halloween treat!
After I began conceptualizing thoughts for these chocolate sweet corn pretzels, I knew there must be more things you can make with pretzels and treat liquefies.
Thank heavens for the maker of the square pretzel or the waffle pretzel as they are authoritatively instituted in light of the fact that now we can make palatable frankensteins!
I utilized little crush containers to add the subtleties to Frankenstein's face. While beautifying press jugs prove to be useful, I realize they aren't the most widely recognized thing to discover in everybody's kitchen so a snappy option is placed the softened chocolate in a quart estimated ziploc sack and cut a small gap in one corner. I suggest quart measured packs on the grounds that the plastic is commonly heavier than sandwich sacks.

- square or waffle pretzels
- green candy melts
- black candy melts
- red candy melts
- a little bit of vegetable shortening to help melt the candy melts
- brown sprinkles
- candy eye balls *or as a substitution use white candy melts and black candy melts
- broken pretzel sticks
Directions:
- In a small pot over low heat on the stove, melt the green candy melts with a small amount of vegetable shortening. The shortening will help to thin out the chocolate. Stir occasionally until melted.
- Place a baking sheet lined with a silicone baking mat or wax paper near your work area. Place one waffle pretzel in the melted chocolate at a time, using a fork to fish the pretzel out of the chocolate, taping the fork against the side of the pot to remove excess chocolate. Transfer the pretzel to the lined baking sheet using a toothpick to help you slide the pretzel off.
- Once you have a handful of pretzels dipped make sure you add the brown sprinkles as hair, candy eye balls (if using), and broken pretzel sticks for Frankenstein’s bolts before the green chocolate sets.
- Once the green chocolate is a bit more set, prepare to add the red scars and black mouths by melting the appropriate colors in separate pots as you did the green candy melts. If you want to skip the candy eye balls use white candy melts and black candy melts to create eye balls. Add 2 white circles where you’d want the eyes to be then add smaller black circles inside.
- Allow the chocolate to harden completely before removing from the baking sheet and serving.
