Cheesecake Brownies – Scrumptiously rich and fudgy brownies beat with a velvety cheesecake layer with a brownie whirl. An ideal cheesecake brownie blend!

Do you love brownies? Shouldn't something be said about cheesecake? Indeed, today I have joined the two to make these heavenly Cheesecake Brownies!

A thick and fudgy brownie layer bested with a velvety, thick layer of cheesecake. What's more, I've finished it off by whirling some more brownie into the cheesecake layer.

To make the brownies, place the margarine, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt into a microwave-safe bowl, and warmth for 1 moment. Mix well, at that point microwave for one more moment. The blend should warm to the touch.

Include the eggs and vanilla, and blend well until joined. Crease in the flour until completely consolidated.

Hold 1/4 cup of the player, and put in a safe spot. Empty the rest of the hitter into a 8×8-inch square heating skillet fixed with foil or material paper, and spread out equitably.

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE BROWNIES

  • 1 and 1/4 sticks (140g) unsalted butter
  • 1 and 1/2 cups (300g) caster/granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup (75g) cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs, cold
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (60g) plain/all-purpose flour

FOR THE CHEESECAKE

  • 2 and 1/4 cups (500g) full fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (100g) caster/granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup (30g) plain/all-purpose flour

INSTRUCTIONS

FOR THE BROWNIES

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with foil or parchment paper, and set aside.
  2. Place the butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat for 1 minute. Stir well, then microwave for another minute. The mixture should very warm to the touch.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, and mix well until combined. Fold in the flour until fully combined.
  4. Reserve 1/4 cup of the batter, and set aside. Pour the remaining batter into the prepared pan, and spread out evenly. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, or until the centre of the brownies is mostly set.
  5. Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack whilst preparing the cheesecake.
